Happy Holidays everyone! A Christmas drink so full of flavor and booze, which is why you are here, right?! We wanted to make a “Santa” cocktail of some sort, and this one we have dubbed the Mrs Claus.

What Ingredients are Needed for the Mrs Claus Cocktail?

  • Aged Rum
  • Bourbon
  • Ancho Reyes Verde
  • Allspice Dram
  • Amaretto
  • Spiced Simple Syrup
  • Egg White

Full of flavor, this egg white cocktail consists of winter spices, rum, and bourbon. We added some Ancho Reyes Verde to give some spicy aspects to this cocktail. Of course, we think a Christmas drink should be rife with baking spices and we even added in spiced simple syrup, allspice dram and amaretto.

Christmas Drink

This is a holiday party in a glass! We added the egg white for body and froth, which gave this Christmas drink a great white layer on the top! For the picture we had some dry ice that we felt we had to use, because dry ice isn’t just for Halloween, right?! So, we made up a cup of cranberries with the dry ice for a cool effect underneath the cocktail.

NOTE: drinking dry ice is not safe! If you add it to a drink, make sure it is completely dissolved before drinking the cocktail. This may mean waiting several minutes for it to do so. It is a safer option to use a larger chunk of dry ice in a bowl with warm water to give the effect of the dry ice in the area you are serving. Use caution and always use gloves and tongs when handling dry ice. Just skip it altogether if safety precautions can’t be followed.

Then, we had an ornament that we thought would make a cool glass perfect for this Christmas drink. It’s a great cocktail even not served in an ornament, which we know you probably won’t have! But, we totally encourage you to make these in a regular glass, for sure!

Mrs Claus Cocktail

So, we named this Christmas drink the Mrs Claus because the egg white foam on top made us think of Santa, but once we garnished an decorated the drink it seemed a little more feminine. Thus, the Mrs Claus was born. Make this fabulous drink asap and wow your holiday guests with this easy Christmas cocktail!

This really looks special. Where did you find the ornament drinking glass and straws? How clever to put the cranberries underneath to add mystery and keep the drink cold! Will have to try!
